Order email not showing shopper name

Hello people,
When an order is placed I receive an email saying an order was placed as normal, however it does not display the name of the shopper. It starts: Hello (vendor name), has placed an order....
Does anybody have any idea what may be the cause of this? Might it have something to do with the vmusers file in my php database being empty? If so, how can I fix this?
I hope someone can help me with this!
