Curreny on orders and invoices

I have a serious issue with virtuemart. I've tried to solve this for so long that I could have installed another shopping cart by now. And I should have! It's REALLY FRUSTRATING

When a user makes an order in a currency different from the vendor currency, the order and the invoice display the vendor currency instead of the currency they selected.

This is a major problem. Why would I want prices in a different currency than the one I selected? It's nonsense. If virtuemart can't send invoices in different currencies, then it shouldn't even be distributed as a multi currency shopping cart!

Im using Joomla 3.4.1 and Virtuemart 3.0.8

Any ideas?
