Category pagination problem

I have installed VirtueMart 3.0.6.2 in my joomla(version 3.4.1).I have 300 category and their have at least 500 sub category.The problem is that I got pagination but its not working.But on the product page the pagination working fine.But on the category section the pagination is like a place holder type nothing more than like that.How it will be solve out.
