Customer Specific Pricing

Firstly I am sorry if I am posting this question in the wrong section. Please move it if so.

I am possibly going to be creating a web shop for a customer. It's pretty standard except for the pricing. The issue is that the pricing should be made customer-specific. When a customer creates an account with the website, and then uses that account to buy stuff, their customer login would affect which prices they see and pay. Other factors might affect the price too, such as quantity being bought. So I was wondering, is there any facilities in VirtueMart which would allow for the extension to 'ask' an external service for a price based on various factors?
