Stockable Variants

I installed Joomla 3.4.0 and VirtueMart 3.0.6.2.

I am trying to install Stockable Variants.  I went to Custom Fields --> Selected 'Plug-Ins' in the custom field type --> Selected 'VM Custom - Stockable Variants in the drop down list.  Nothing happens when I do this.  I expect to see new fields drop down that I can then fill out, however this doesn't happen.

Can someone explain to me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,
Stockable variant is not supported anymore. Because of use of generic child variants.
Of course you can always modify the code to do it run.
