Custom Field inserting

Hi Folks,
I've been battling with this for a few days without any luck.
I'm trying to insert a custom field (Textarea) into the VirtueMart Account Maintenance page, how is this done?

You use the wrong term, search for userfields or shopperfields. Customfields means extra fields for products.
