Extra product detail pics doesn't show up after migration

In migration from VM1.1 to 2.1 (and Joomla 1.5 to 2.5)

I lost all my extra pictures of products. I can see they are imported, but - sorry I am a total newbie at all this - the extra pictures don't show on product detail pages.
Is there any possible way to fix this at this stage?

Since there are hundreds of extra pics, I hope to save many, many hours of work, if there is any solution.

EDIT: I forgot, all attributes are also gone. FYI.

You need to add the images to the products - start by hitting the Synchronize media to VirtueMart  each can be added individually.

VM2 uses custom fields rather than attributes. But this may help: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102083.0

I have the same issue, what do you mean by each can be added individually? one-by-one by hand? because I have about 1000 products and I had 4-5 images for each one.
