Add question w/radio buttons to checkout page

I would like to add one question to the checkout page, just above the standard "notes" text area.  This question would be "Is it ok to partial ship your order?", with yes/no radio buttons. 

There are times that I'm out of stock with certain items for a few days, but more often than not, my clients are ok, with a partial order shipment, while waiting on the out-of-stock items, in a second later shipment.  While other clients would rather receive their entire order in full, at a later date.  Hence this question, at checkout.

The Yes or No answer would then be sent along with the order and email order, just as with the "notes".

This is not easy, because database corefiles must be changed. A easy way is to add a new Shopper Field with this question to the Shopper Form.

Not really a solution for your problem / feature wish.

But you could add such a question to the checkout registration page by adding a custom shopper field in the VirtueMart backend.
