i would like to be able to give customers points or fake money-like if they win a contest- and then have certain products in a category that can then be purchased with these points.
while the rest of the products remain as normal money purchases.

yea not free, and you have to buy other components to use it.

So? A shop site is built to make money is it not? You have to invest at some stage or program everything you need yourself.
