keep getting vmError: alterTable CHANGE when i save the VM config panel

vmError: Tableupdater updating table oo816_virtuemart_categories_en_au throws error Duplicate entry '4294967295' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=ALTER TABLE `oo816_virtuemart_categories_en_au` CHANGE COLUMN `virtuemart_category_id` `virtuemart_category_id` INT(1) UNSIGNED NOT NULL

already tried deleting the categories_en_au table and uploading it again through myphpadmin,
also tried tools & migration -> install or if necessary update tables

vm version is already 2.0.26d, i have been having this issue from version 2.0.22a to 2.0.26a and 2.0.26b...

any ideas how i can solve this annoying warning message?
