500 Internal Server Error after clicking buy button

I receive a 500 internal server error after clicking the "add to cart" button on products in the store in the front end, it seems to take a lot of time resolving the page.
I am also getting the same error when synhcronize media in the administrator area. This has just started happening, it was fine before yesterday.
The only thing i did to change anything recently was update to 2.0.26a and the aio.

Please try 2.0.26b which should resolve an issue that some users had with 2.0.26a. Best to try on a backup copy of the site first.
