Categories No Longer in order after upgrade

For some reason the shop now has all the categories in Alphabetical order . The original ordering number is still there but this doesn't seem to be working. I would like to get this back to how it was as It is best to have the categories with the most products or the best selling product at the top. This was an upgrade from 24 to 24a

I am using Vituemart version 2.0.24a  , Joomla Version: Joomla! 2.5.16 and PHP Version    5.3.26
