I am trying to upgrade from VM2.0.20b by clicking on the large update now button in the VM area backend, but I keep getting the message Invalid token, in store config

I have just finished uploading 2000 products so I do not want to lose anything, can anyone tell me what this error is and how to fix it?

I have VM2.0.20b installed on J2.5.14

I did the update from J2.5.11 to J2.5.14 moments before trying to update VM and that was successful.

Anyone have the same problem?

Akeeba stuff (restore points) influences backend area in general. So be prepared to meet problems with other then Akeeba and standard Joomla components.

Turn off these restore points. Use standard Joomla installation routine.

Where  do I turn off the restore points?  Is this automatically installed?  I used the update button on the VM backend, its the only way I have ever done this and now its not working on other sites too.

Use Joomla's extensions installer. The inbuilt VM updater is using Akeeba code and that is causing errors partly because it cannot handle certain file types.
