VM 2.0.20b - Payment Plugin Heidelpay confirmed order still marked as "pending"

Hi there,

our Shop is built in VM 2.0.20b.
I am facing a very annoying problem with the built-in Credit/Debit Card Plugin for Heidelpay. The payment works fine, meaning the money is booked. Debugging doesn't show any Errors. But the order status is not set to confirmed. It stays pending.

I asked Heidelpay about that and they sent me the Request/Response Log for the transaction. Here are the last 6 lines:

Somehow after receiving the response the process is finished by opening closeHCO.jsp before the status is changed.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I read about similar problems with the PayPal plugin. These were somehow caused by SEF.
