Postal rates, France particularly.

Using the standard shipping module it appears that one has to copy all the La Poste rates.... or does someone know of some easy way to just import them? I presume similar applies for other countries.

Trawled extensions, googled and searched forums. Can it be that every VM shop owner is manually processing hundreds of postal rates every year? Or do I just lack the right search terms? Been using VM for years in catalogue only mode so my first experience with using it for a shop!
