Chinese language don't work

I have translated the language into chinese,but when i put them into administator/language/zh-CN and language/zh-CN,the back end can't show the chinese language. But if i copy the new en-GB files and change to zh-CN files,then do the translation, it works. What is the problem? Help needed,thanks!

Just in case you didn't solve that problem meanwhile. It is possible that your problem is caused by the 'Character Encoding" set in your editor. All language files should be saved encoded as "utf-8 without BOM".

virtuemart 2 still  have no Chinese version ?
I'm looking for zh_CN language pack too.

You can download and use the language pack 'com_virtuemart.2.0.16_languages_extract_first.zip' available here:

However, the language pack isn't 100 percent complete, because in the last few months nobody from China updated this translation.
