Quantity/Price dropdown?

Hi,

I'm new to VirtueMart and need to understand how I can create a product that uses a dropdown for the quantity. The products aren't sold by the "each". Customers can't order just any quantity. We sell the products as a sample (1), 50, 100, 150, and Case. Each has a specific price.

Also, there are some products that are a combination of two other products. Each uses the same quantity breakdowns. I want the combination product's price to be based on the combination of the two products that make up the combination product. So if part A is 0.50, and part B is 0.75, then the combo would be 1.25. Quantity 50 would be part A is 22.50, part B is 33.75, so the combo would be 56.25 (for 50).

I've tried searching, but not knowing some of the terminology is making that a bit difficult. (like, what is a "child" product?)
