Hi, I did a search and turned up nothing, but I want my customers to be able to have access to the full history of their purchases in the account, including details on any current orders. Has anyone done this or could give details on how to do this?

Hello,

I think you just need to create a new menu item for account maintenance or listing orders, users can see there all the orders, if you click on an order you have the full information for the whole order and also order history (Confirmed, Return, Cancel, Send, when, etc).

That's awesome. Thanks for that. I didn't even know about the virtuemart link, so I changed my account maintenance link from joomla to virtuemart. There is an issue though.

When I create a test account, it tells me it has sent a confirmation email to register the account, however it auto logs in the account straight away. So if you go and click the account activation link it doesn't activate the account on the joomla side, and then the customer can't login again. How can I prevent the customer auto logging in on initial registration?

The other thing I noticed is that the capture isn't available for the virtuemart account creation either. Can this be added in?

Also, I don't want the password sent to the customer. I don't believe this to be secure. Can I stop this?

EDIT: I am getting this message now when attempting to register by clicking the email link

I went back to the joomla one. It seems much more stable, and just added menu items in the account for people to track their orders. Thank you for telling me about the menu, I really appreciate it!

Hello,

Is working for me fine, i have seen similar posts facing same issues with the registration but the link that comes on registered users mail works fine. Yes you could use joomla also, is prefered. Mention that vm2 uses the joomla user component.
