Multiple options for each product!

Hi I would like to add an option next to or underneath "Add to Cart" to give people the option to choose either a 100g or 200g product which will automatically change the price to either £1 or £2 (depending on the weight selected.)
I think this needs to be done on custom fields but I don't have any idea how to do this.  The version I am using is VM2 2.0.1b with Joomla 2.5.7

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You do need to use custom fields for that. Have a look at the Wiki where there is some user information: http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki

Note that there have been a lot of changes & improvements in the way that custom fields work as VM2 has been developed, so some of the forum information will be out of date. We are now at 2.0.12b
