Virtuemart on the index

Hi!
I have a problem with virtuemart...
I am making a web with joomla2.5.0 and virtuemart, wich version i must use?
And, i would like put the virtemart on the index, how i can do this?

Today you should use Joomla 2.5.6  with VirtueMart 2.0.10

To set VirtueMart on the home page make a Joomla index page link to the VirtueMart Front Page in Joomla's main menu manager.
