VM 2.0.10, J2.5.6 payment Method configuration error

Hi,

Very frustrating error when adding a payment method, click the new, fill in the fields and click save. Then try to edit the configuration and the following url administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=paymentmethod&layout=edit&cid[]=1 loads with a blank page

I have edited the paymentmethod.php in the admin/controllers as per post: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=97009.msg319820#msg319820 no joy so reverted to original

If I close the new payment method,  can no longer access it, blank page loads

Hope someone can help here.
