Add to cart sends to home page

Hi There,

I have installed virtuemart2 with joomla1.5.when i tried to click on the Add to cart button it redirects me to the home page automatically.I am unable to find the solution of this problem.Please help me as soon as possible.

Now i am facing a new problem.My site is not working on chrome saying error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function getValue() on a non-object in /home/gaurav80/public_html/preservationsolution/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/config.php on line 551
