Child Category Left Nav. Glim Child Categories Extension.

Hi,

I have a Joomla 1.5 site that I used Glim Child Categories for Virtuemart to display the subcategories on the left position in a handy left nav.  Perfect!

The extension is only 1.5 Native.

Does anyone know if this is built into Virtuemart 2.0, or Joomla 2.5, to allow the display of a categories child categories in different positions?
