Going into "shop" page under "shop" category gives my own info

Hi, I am using J! 1.7.3 and vm 2.0.0.
Clicking on "shop" under the "shop" category (/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user&task=editshop) gives my own (user) data:
additional info; general user info (two tabs).
What's going on here?
Under additional info I can see Vendor: permission admin; Client group: default.
In short, these are the exact same info I get if I click on the "order & clients" tab, then clients, then me.

Seems like I rely too much to the old vm 1.x.
With it I can modify all the shop options from there! Where's anything similar here?
