Custom Fields import with SQL

Hi there,

Because of new regulations I have to add some custom fields to our shop sites (selling wine).
As I don't want to create these fields manually, I thought I could import them with SQL. So I created the fields in one shop and now I want to import them with SQL to the other shops.

When you do this with Joomla custom fields, you also have to update the assets database.
Do I have to do something like this when importing the Virtuemart custom fields?
