PayGate plugin issue on VM 3.8.4

Hi

I am trying to implement a new payment gate and am having issues with their plugin.

They have a plugin for VM 3.8.4 and Joomla 3.10 which is what my site is currently running.
That's plugin version 1.0.3

They have version 1.0.4 of the plugin for vm4/J4.

I've tried the PayGate plugin version 1.0.3 and keep getting an error which seems related to the order information / order number - seems to me like this information isn't been sent through to the gateway correctly.

Their app developer isn't providing any support unless you are running:
- VirtueMart 4.2.18
- Joomla 4.4.6
- PHP 8.0.

Version 1.0.4 of their plugin installs on my site, but gives the same issue.

DATA_PAY_REQ_ID

I am wondering if they have made changes from their side, that were necessary to make the gateway work with VM 4.X

Although, I have managed to get version 1.0.2 of their plugin working on a VM3.2 installation.

Any suggestions on what might cause an error such as DATA_PAY_REQ_ID - https://docs.paygate.co.za/

I am working towards updating my site, but would like to get this working for on the current installation so long.
