Strange behaviour after viewing cart

Hello VM community and thank you in advance!

I'm using Joomla 3.9.23 and VirtueMart 3.8.6 10373
Before posting, I do my homework : read posts and try scripts to correct bugs, but this might not be one... Can someone please explain?

VM categories and child products
-Grandfather
  -Father1
     -Product child1
     -Product child2
  -Father2
     -Product child1
     -Product child2
  -Father3
     -Product child1
     -Product child2

In main website menu : menu item "Shop" is a VM category leading to "Grandfather" category
VM category module is set to "Grandfather"

I add products to cart from all Fathers... fine
View cart... fine

This happens after viewing cart:
Father 1 and children, work fine to add products
Link is only an example : website.com/index.php/shop/father1/Product child1

Father 2 and 3 and their children... "cart" is added in their links, so they stop showing products, cart still there when links are clicked
Link is only an example : website.com/index.php/shop/cart/father2/Product child1

Anyone have a similar problem? What can I do please?
Can this be a sublevel of maximum 2 issue?
