After some updates from VM starting from approximately 11/18/2018, the subject of letters began to arrive not in the language of the store and the site, but in English.
Can you please tell me how to fix this problem?

Sorry, thanks! I'll sign for now!
Site language and admin panel: Ukrainian

That happens because the order mail status messages from BE and FE files com_virtuemart.ini into were shifted to the file en-GB.com_virtuemart_orders.ini in VM 3.4.1+ and those are not yet translated in the Ukrainian uk-UA.com_virtuemart_orders.ini on transifex.com. Do you by chance already help with the ukrainian translation on  transifex?

Ahh, that's the thing!
Thank you very much for your help!

And where should this language file be located?
Here: /components/com_virtuemart/language/uk-UA
Or here: /language/uk-UA

I translated only the subject, but the truth is as clear to me. There is a sequence of variables.

For a view of the moved language keys/strings have a look here:

If you didn't update your language files for a while, you may download and install the current ukrainian ones from here:
http://virtuemart.net/community/translations

The moved strings should go into the file your-joomla-root-folder\language\uk-UA\uk-UA.com_virtuemart_orders.ini

Thank you, jjk, so much for such detailed help!
I changed the lines in the language file to my own. I will now test.
