untranslated strings in components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/chosen.jquery.min.js

I was wondering, why the translations from COM_VIRTUEMART_JS_STRINGS did not work in my language and I discovered that in components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/chosen.jquery.min.js values for "Select an Option" seem to be hardcoded into the js file. As a temporary fix I translated them in the js file but this won't be update-save. Will this be fixed? (I saw that someone hat a similar problem somes years ago (https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=129982.0))

Have you try to add a Joomla language override for each language?
