What is a delivery note?

Hello!

I have noticed a "Create Delivery Note" button with a red cross on it under "Orders". I have no idea what a delivery note is. Please explain.

So it's just a document that serves as a proof of delivery of physical goods. We sell services, so it's probably irrelevant for us.
