Comments in cart Virtuemart 3.0?

Have you removed the Comments possibility in cart for customers in VM 3?

We have some clients that use that heavily.. is it moved or how to add order comment?

I can see oc_note in prefix_virtuemart_orders but its not visible in backend or anywhere yet? Or am I missing something here?

It's in Shopper Fields as customer_note

Ok, we will try to use that for our payment module then

The field should have the following entry:

Field type            = textarea

Fieldname           = customer_note
Field title             = COM_VIRTUEMART_CNOTES_CART

Show in cart form = yes


You can also add fields yourself.

but i cant see it in order table_virtuemart_orders. as it has to be on vm2.

i have it on cart. and customer can write the text but i dont know in which table the text will save.


now im on joomla 3.6 & virtuemart 3.016

It is stored in the userinfo and shown in the Order at the user address. The builtin migrator also migrates it automatically. So most people dont have any problem with it.

i wasnt aware of migration and did it manually for 2000 customer and 4000 order and 9000 product
