Hi

VM 3.0.14. joomla 3.5.1

There are 2 type of "categories" menu item you can create for VM. Seems a deprecated view left there.

Not sure either why there are 2 "thank you page" also, one says default and the other one OPC.

Tha categories menu link has not been shown in new VM installs since 2.0.24a - if you still see it then you have a historical (no longer used)  "categories" layout subdirecttory in /components/com_virtuemart/views/

If you have a main menu link to the old categories layout then you should check that, as the stand alone categories layout was removed in 2.0.24 and is now replaced.
See http://virtuemart.net/news/latest-news/450-virtuemart-2-0-24a-includes-klarna-checkout#features

And the "thank you links" are not default VirtueMart - they come from your OPC.

But thank you for trying to find new problems with VirtueMart.

Hi thanks for reply, I checked and I have that folder "categories" in the root you tell me.

About the OPC thank you pages I was surprised that the menu type appears inside Virtuemart component and not OPC component when you create a new menu item.

as you upgrade from older versions, older folders or files that are not changed do get left within the VM folders

@Manu : If you don't hack VM. Simply delete the whole virtuemart component folder and upload the new one, so all old file get removed.
The problem is that Joomla do not delete old files on update a component, so if you used VM2, all obselete files stay.
