Hi Everyone,

I've been upgrading a client site from Joomla 2.x to 3.x and Virtuemart is one of their extensions, seems the database has a lot of trouble when upgrading as I had to add a Customer Notes column to virtuemart_order_userinfos table as it was not added during migration and I did try the tools area where DB converts VM2 to VM3, but even yet the Custom Fields are not assign properly to each product, I have to assign them now one by one manually to the almost 2000 products, I'm wondering if there is anything that might help or change this as this will take a lot of time adding new custom fields to each product.

I assume u tried the customfields tool in tools?

try comparing directly in the tables the difference between a newly made custom and the ones not "attached"

there were some field name changes between VM2 & 3

Hi, what table should be different? I verified them all and they all have the same column titles, unless I verified something that is not needed, products, customfields tables.

virtuemart_product_customfields table has different named titles between VM2 & 3 and extra rows
