auto-fill city and state after entering zip code

I can't be the first person to ask for this... most online stores do this automatically. When you enter in your zip code, it automatically fills in the city, state and country fields. Has anybody done this yet, or is there a plugin for this?

I found something called ziptastic that looks like it could be used for this purpose, but it appears to be somewhat of a stretch technically. https://css-tricks.com/using-ziptastic/

it is just code in the address form but the thing you post is 4 years old and https://zip.elevenbasetwo.com/ doesn't even exist as a domain

first find a reliable zip to address service.. 

I do a similar thing here for Australian suburbs (required by a shipper)

That is for UK postal codes only - I have a version that works for VM3 and J3.5 - But it will not work for any other regions as it uses the PAF lookup that craftyclicks own

You also have to pay a tiny amount per lookup - which IMHO is worth it for correct postal addresses and positive customer experience during checkout
