Replace Add to Cart with Choose Varation in Category View

Hello

I have site www.xroma-radis.gr and I use Joomla 3.4.4 Stable, Virtuemart 3.0.8 and PHP 5.4.39 

When a product has custom variants in category view customer view the "add to cart" button and if he press it then the product goes to cart directly without user select the variants. I use a template from smartaddons.com but also with the default virtuemart template the result is the same. I saw templates that when product has custom varations the "add to cart" button is replaced by "choose varation" button or if the user press add to cart the product details page displays when the user can select the varation. How can I fix that ? Am I doing something wrong?
