Hello everyone,

I am working on a site that has products with different colour options. I found a great video that shows how to create parent child relationships:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny4ADfTTzb4 (VirtueMart 3.x. How To Add Child Product).

Unfortunately, when I get to the final part where you click on the "Custom Fields" tab, then click the dropdown menu under "Custom Field Type" there is an option called "Customfield Child Varient". I don't have that option. Is that part of a plugin?

I am using VirtueMart 3.0.11.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Thank you for the response. I will look into how to do that.

Sorry, but I'm still having problems. I clicked on the "Custom Fields" link on the left, then the green "New " button, and selected "Generic child variant" etc. Unfortunately, after selecting the parent product and selecting new "Generic child variant" I just created from the Custom Field Type drop-down, the two products (parent and child) are still showing as two separate products. I want one product with two colour choices. It seems like nothing changes no matter what I do. Does anyone have a good link to a tutorial so I can see what I'm missing? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
