How to hide "characters written" in front end of site custom fields

When using textareainput for custom fields, On front end of site it shows next to each field "characters written: 0"

Is there a way to hide or disable this? I have it set to 0 in custom fields parameters.

if it can't be done programmatically the easiest is just display:none by css
