State/Region dropdown menu is empty

Hi, I read a few threads about this problem, with the frequent suggestion being that this is caused by a jquery conflict.

But if I don't see such errors with firebug and I have jquery easy plugin installed, what else can cause this problem?

Is it possible to replace that menu with a free-text field?

without live url no one can help

you can make a new shopper field called states as a text field and unpublish the other - might work but seems drastic

One plugin that causes this behaviour on mz site was the EU-ePrivacy plugin from Richie .. well as GJC stated.. no live URL not much help

I liked GJC's suggestion. Will publish the URL shortly on the "show and tell" forum here :-)  Keeping private for now while I try to make the last fixes before the launch
