Is there a way to send an email to customers that abandone their cart?

Hi I am really new to VirtueMart and Joomla and I was just browsing around the admin page and I didn't see that option, maybe I missed it. I appreciate if you could help
I am using VirtueMart 2.6.6 and Joomla 2.5.20

Ok, just one more question, in this page: http://docs.virtuemart.net/manual/21-configuration-menu/65-order-statuses.html it says that:
            "Pending is triggered, when a shopper, guest or registered, puts a product or products into the cart and chooses a 
             payment, but doesn't finalise the order by clicking on the "Confirm Order" button."
If I set the configuration to automatically select a payment option will that send the email automatically?
PS. I am running it in a localhost
