Product not shown in Categori

Hi

I have a problem, when i click on the frontend category i have created, the site doenst show the products in the category.

I have created the category and add a product to the category.

I can access the product be the "newest product" module but not be clicking the category.

hope it makes sense..

1st - switch off ALL SEO until you've finished developing your site - I see this so often and really don't understand why people do it...

how can u debug a problem when you have no idea what actually is happening?

(rant finished)

then check your urls etc to see it the prod is where you think it is and check your config in admin etc - with a std template they will just show up..
is this a 3rd party template? try with Beez

The issue occures when i in virutemart > Template  set the [Categori layout] to [Categories]

Then i can see the items when i choose a Categori, but then i cant get a list of alle the categories in virtuemart?

Any ideas?

and in vm3 you can handle it directly by the menuitem of joomla

It works fine when i choose a category to view, but i want a complete overview of all the categories.

Is that possible?

Choose "all categories"?

There is nothing called all categories.. only something called "top level category" and it does not work when i choose that one.

In Configuration/Templates/Shopfront Settings select Show Children Category  and under VirtueMart Home Page Settings select Show Categories

Hmm it only works if i set the setting "Categori Layout" to "Categoris" under template.

But then the categories i have linket directly to dosent work ?
