Don't show X payment method in Y category

Hi, I just want to ask, Is this possible?
I just see filters by countries and shopper group in payment method

is there anyway to make this work whit categories?
Is the only solution add custom code? im not an expert in php, but i could try

this has been requested before but rarely implimented - the problem is what do u do when you have products from differing cats???

to code is relatively simple in the conditions of your payment plugin - bit then u hit the problem above...
