Hi I have a problem with the option "enable SSL" in vm2.0.22c: my url is http://site.provider.org. When I bought SSL service, the url changed in https://site.ssl.provider.org (don't ask me why.. if I knew it, I'd never buy a domain on this provider T_T).
If "enable SSL" in VM is ON then vm takes the url in http, edits in https and returns a 404 (since that page, https://site.provider.org, does not exist).
What file can I edit to make the "enable ssl" function work on this damn server?
Thank you.

I'm sorry, in such issue in past on forum nothing could be done IN VM. You absolutely need normal https.

"site.provider.org" sounds to me like a typical test website. SSL certificates are bound to a domain and need to be installed on the server (usually the hoster takes care of that). Are you shure that your SSL certificate is configured for the subdomain on the server?

PS: Personally I use the free StartSSL, which works fine with Joomla/VirtueMart. But in order to use it, your hoster must be willing to configure it for your domain on the server.
