Hi

I have a rather strange issue. I always import my product using CSV improved.

My products seemed to import correctly, but they are not displaying on the front end.

When i go into the individual product the category looks correct. The product only shows up on the front end when i open it in the admin area and save it. (although i have not changed any information.

I thought this could be an issue with stock control, although my site is set to allow ordering products that are not in stock.

When i view the product category list it shows me that there are 0 products in each category - although i know that they are there (see attached).

Once i click on SHOW they products do show up. (see attached).

I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Using VM 2.0.18a and Joomla 2.5.6

Are the products published?  What happens when you add a stock number to a product?

yes, they are published. That was the first thing i checked  :)

It's difficult for me to say what happens when i add a stock number to a product, because as soon as i open up a products' details and then click on save it shows up in the front end. (irrespective of whether or not i have added a stock number)

Seems that i finally figured it out.

The products were displaying as published in the admin area.

I opened one then saves; then exported using csvi.

Only the one that i had opened and saved displayed a 1 in the 'published' field.

I added the 1 next to all the products in the 'published' column, did another import and now they display.
