Hello

I am using Joomla 2.5.6 and Virtuemat 2

My client is based in the UK. I have a currency converter on the website.

In virtuemart, shipping costs for various countries have been set.

But in the shopping cart, the currency converter will change the price amount of the product to a different currency, but the shipping cost amount stays in UK Pounds even though it is showing the other currency symbol.

Anyone who can help?

VM 2.0.6

Interested to see that to get the VM version you have to http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=104314.0

The developers should just put the version in the webpage like Joomla does.

More info:

So, to recap: The Currency converter is not converting the shipping cost in the shopping cart. I installed One Page Checkout and the currency appears fine under Shipment information, it converts succesfully to the new currency, but not in the shopping cart where it is all totalled up.

That VM version is very old now. To see the version you are using just click on the version/update button at the bottom of the BE menu. Then you will see something like
Installed version 2.0.18a
Latest version 2.0.18a
Latest release date 2013-01-08

Incidentally in Joomla 3 the version is no longer shown on each page as it is now considered to be an aid to hackers!

Anyway, I suspect that your issue is fixed in later versions, and the current release includes the text:   Versions below 2.0.10 are considered as unsecure.
