I am using Joomla version 2.5.8 and virtuemart  2.0.8e and have enables multivendor.

When a client/buyer confirms and buys a product, this message appears:

Info: Stop try to hack this store, you got logged


How can i solve this problem?

I hired a contractor to modify the vendor section.  By updating, will this delete all of his work?

If your contractor's modifications were achieved by plugin and overrides then they "should" not be affected, or the overrides/plugin may need minor revisions, but if the core was modified then whatever was done will be overwritten. That is why we do not support core hacks. But that version is old, and all VM versions below 2.0.10 are considered as insecure. 

As always, any updates should first be tested on a backup of the live site.
