Selecting Shipping Option - Standard or Express error

I have a few shipping options actually for different weight ranges. The standard would be anything in the cart from 1 - 4 ounces and express would be anything from 1 - 6 ounces. The problem is that though on the frontend, customers can see the "select shipment" link, when you click this you're redirected to a page that says "We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order." The standard and express shipment method is published and what I put in the cart to test this was a product that was 1 ounce. What seems to be the problem?

Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately, the situation is still the same. Though I've transitioned to another cart, I look forward to this improvement in future versions.
