Hi. I've tested in a new user registration without check the COM_VIRTUEMART_I_AGREE_TO_TOS check box...

And user receive the e-mail to confirm registration and could also log in website.
This is normal?
VM2.0.12B
VM V. online: J2.5.14 | VM 2.0.20a | SQL 5.1.70 | PHP 5.3.25

Yes, that is normal behavior for virtuemart. Will not give any notice of the fact you did not check the TOS. (indeed, it makes no sence at all, very confusing and will cause legal problems if i am not mistaken, for some in the future).

With the VM 2.0.14 it is not possible to checkout without click the agree to tos button. But it lacks an error message, which in case of not confirming the TOS (forgotten to click the button) says: you need to agree to toe to proceed the order. VM 2.0.14 at the moment just does not proceed but does not tell why. So if a customer does not see the little button for example, he even does not get any information why the order does not proceed. The whole order process is not very nice in VM 2, it was much better in VM 1, guiding a customer step by step and not showing just: enter address, choose payment, choose shipping, agree to TOS on the same page in different positions. the whole checkout is absolutely not customer friendly.

Full agree with you franzpeter.
I'll have to test 2.0.14 in my localhost first

My store doesnt have so much costumers is still in 2.0.12B but some of who created an account tell me, by mail , that got some problems in registration area and add product in the cart to do checkout.. And even the problem with spam check in VM form registration is not working..

Hello lipes,

it would be easy to implement a spam check, because Joomla by default has such a spam check. It could be applied to VM forms for example using the default Joomla way. I agree to you completely, that I never did see such a bad checkout as provided by VM 2. Did try out that with different shopping carts like shop ware, open cart and with joomshopping (which is a Joomla ecommerce component too). The customers are guided step by step through the checkout process. Normally it should work in the following way: it shows first the cart so the customer can decide to delete or add some additional products. Then it goes to a page to enter the address. Next is a shipping and payment, because shipping and payment depends on the address. The final step is the order confirmation with Agree to TOS.
And the actual situation with Virtuemart 2 is:
VM 2 shows the shopping cart page. On top is entering the address, then it shows products in cart, then it shows shipping and payment and agree to TOS, all on one page. There is no error report, if a customer did forget to enter something. From the point of customer: How should a customer know what to do first. A customer must not know, how VM 2 works. If the customer tries for example to select the shipping or payment first, VM 2 shows that there are no shipping or payment for the address. There are thousands of shopping cart pages in the whole world. Why should the customer buy for example on my page, if he first needs to find out how to buy something. If I would be the customer, I would leave that page and search that product somewhere else, where it is easier to buy.
