duplicate order confirmation emails

Need some advice on auto generated emails when orders are place in VM.

1. What emails should be generated and at what stage of the order process.
2. is it possible to stop some of these being sent. We only really need one email saying an order has been placed.
3. Is there any reason why we are receiving duplicate copies of each email? I thought it might be because the joomla super user was receiving copies of these emails but this is not the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I need to get the order confirmation disabled, but cannot find how that can be done. When having some 300 emails each day there is no need have both the order and order confirmation to the same email-address. Please let me know how to disable order-confirmation to be sent to admin-email!

Just posted a similar question to this one, need to stop the confirmation emails as we are using artio invoice to give us a nicer looking email
