Can I create an article menu item on VM category menu?

Is it possible to place some items on the VM Category menu that link to Joomla articles instead of product categories?
I'd like to be able to have other content accessible to visitors off of a frontpage menu. I have a lot of room on my Categories
menu.

No it isn't. But why don't you just create a new menu module below the VM menu?

Great idea. I tend to forget about that capability within Joomla. With the current third-party template I'm using I've run into problems when modifying anything about the layout. I can always give it a shot.
