2 layout problems - page headings and manufacturer display

1. In the Joomla page display options of a VM "categories layout" navigation item I can enter the page heading and choose to show page heading.
This does not work though as I see no heading.

2. Is it possible to show all chosen product categories and all chosen product manufacturers for the same Joomla navigation item. If so do I need a plugin?


Please suggest solutions.
